NOTHING SPECIAL
McCain was looking for a way to grow on their existing campaign of "There's something special about nothing special".

Targeting families, we looked to highlight those messy, monotonous moments we take for granted and to emphasize how those not so special moments really are the most special.

This film features a well-dressed couple arriving at a dinner party, only it's run by their own children.

A couple excitedly make their way to the front door. The man knocks and it opens with seemingly no one there until he camera pans down to a child dressed in baggy formal wear resembling a waiter.
Boy: G-good evening, party of...
Counts on his fingers.
Boy: 2? 2! Follow me please.
The boy leads them to the living room where a makeshift restaurant is set up. A young girl comes by with a jug. She spills some water and freezes for a moment before using her sleeve to dry the spill.
Boy: Dinner is served!
With the couple distracted, the girl escapes while the boy walks towards the couple with a tray.
Boy: For tonight's menu we have a plate of chips, a bowl of chips, and my favourite, a cup of chippies. Enjoy.
Woman: What a special dinner, looks delicious!
Boy turns around revealing chips stashed in his back pocket. Couple laughs before digging in.
Man: Compliments to the chefs!
The pair of children peeking through the kitchen door giggle and jump up and down.
Super: There's something special about "nothing special"
